Rental Terms & Conditions
DRIVER’S AGE
The minimum age requirement for drivers is 21 years old.
DRIVER’S LICENSE
Drivers must hold a valid driving license for at least 12 months. For licenses not written in Latin characters, an International Driving Permit is required.
DELIVERY & COLLECTION
Free delivery and collection are provided at hotels, ports, and the airport.
TRAFFIC FINES & ADMINISTRATIVE PENALTIES
Any traffic tickets or administrative penalties incurred during the rental period are the sole responsibility of the renter.
FUEL POLICY
The renter is responsible for fuel costs and must return the vehicle with the same fuel level as received.
RENTAL DURATION
The minimum rental period is one (1) day.
TAXES
All prices include 24% VAT.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Reservations cancelled at least 21 days prior to arrival are free of charge. Reservations cancelled within 21 days of the arrival date are eligible for a 50% refund. Any bank transfer or transaction fees are borne by the customer.
VEHICLE PICK-UP
It is very important that the customer inspects the vehicle upon pick-up and takes the necessary photos together with our company representative.
Any existing damage must be reported at that time in order to avoid being charged for damage caused by a previous renter.
VEHICLE RETURN
Upon return, the vehicle must be in the same condition as when received.
Exterior: No new scratches, dents, or damage.
Interior: No tears on seats, carpets, or liquid spills causing damage.
Dust, mud, or general dirt are not considered vehicle damage.
OFF-ROAD DRIVING
With conventional (non-4x4) vehicles, you are not permitted to visit the western part of Milos (Chalakas – Vani – Triades – Ammoudaraki – Agathia – Kleftiko – Agios Ioannis) and the eastern part of the island (Old Sulfur Mines / Palia Theiorycheia).
IMPORTANT NOTICE
PLEASE ENTER THE VEHICLE ONLY WITH DRY CLOTHES to avoid a €100 charge for biological cleaning of the vehicle.
LATE RETURNS
During low and mid-season, delays of up to 2 hours are not charged. During high season, the maximum accepted delay without extra charge is 20 minutes.
If the renter returns the vehicle after the agreed time and beyond the above limits, without prior extension agreement, they will be charged a full additional day according to the applicable seasonal daily rate.
PETS - ANIMALS
Pets are not allowed inside the vehicle.
BASIC INSURANCE
Each vehicle is covered by basic third-party liability insurance.
The insurance company covers damages caused to third parties.
For damage or theft caused by the customer’s fault or negligence, the customer is liable up to the full commercial value of the vehicle at the time of the accident or theft.
If the customer causes damage to another vehicle, the insurance company compensates only the third party.
If the customer intentionally damages the vehicle or fails to report damage during the rental period, repair costs are entirely the customer's responsibility.
ADDITIONAL INSURANCE COVERAGE
If the renter wishes, Collision Damage Waiver (C.D.W.) with excess liability can be purchased at an additional cost. With this coverage, in case of damage, the renter’s liability is limited to the agreed excess amount.
WHAT IS NOT COVERED BY ANY INSURANCE
Damage caused by a driver under the influence of alcohol or drugs
Damage caused by an unauthorized driver
Interior vehicle damage
Damage caused while the vehicle was illegally parked
Damage resulting from violation of traffic laws
Damage due to negligent, improper, or intentional driving
Engine damage caused by incorrect fuel or negligence
Damage caused by off-road driving or driving on unsuitable roads (non-asphalt roads, dirt roads, beaches, etc.)
Damage occurring after the agreed return time
Damage to mirrors
Damage or loss of tires, rims, hubcaps
Damage to the underside of the vehicle
Damage or loss of the antenna
Intentional or reckless damage (e.g. clutch burning, tire burning, sitting or standing on the hood or roof, etc.)
If the renter fails to notify our company and the police at the time of the accident
Loss of personal belongings
Loss, damage, or theft of vehicle keys
Loss or damage of child seats, jack, safety triangle, spare wheel, fuel cap, or any accessories
Total or partial theft due to renter negligence (e.g. leaving the keys inside the vehicle)
Traffic fines or administrative penalties resulting from violations of the Greek Traffic Code
